Hamleys of Regent Street in London is a world-famous toy store and destination for thousands of tourists every year. In February, Hamleys launched its brand new, London Underground-themed, sales floor, including a life-sized, London Underground tube train!

Hamleys chose Image Insight to provide the photo operation for this important new tourist attraction.

Image Insight has installed an innovative chromakey photosystem into the train, with a hidden camera and a special grey screen in keeping with the London underground theme.

Using our unique VEGA photo solution, children go inside the train, have their photo taken and are transformed into a tube train driver. They are then presented with a personalised, train driving licence printed with their photograph.

Families are photographed together and can choose from a selection of famous London landmarks to be used in the background. With our VEGA photo solution, a variety of photo gifts can be produced including phone covers, keyrings and mouse mats.
