Photo solution for Farmborough AirShow 2014

We had a fantastic weekend providing a themed chromakey photography studio to visitors of Farnborough Air Show 2014.

A customised solution was ideal for the Labyrinth of Innovation, where visitors were encouraged to get involved in the history of aviation and we were able to provide them with personalised souvenirs of their day at the show. Images were captured as each visitor entered the Labyrinth and were then displayed and purchased as they exited.

This solution called for extra features, in that some of the more historic backgrounds were black and white/sepia toned and the visitors’ images needed to be converted for authenticity. This resulted in some fantastic souvenir images, with visitors encouraged to have fun using themed props and poses.

Our on-site photographer was also able to take photos as the air show displays were taking place and to upload these images as backgrounds immediately. As well as providing more choices, this meant that backgrounds were relevant to that particular day, making much more meaningful souvenir images for visitors.
